Our Pearlers Shacks are rustic cottages steeped in history. In the early pearling days, our pearl farmers would return to Divers Creek in between swings. Diver’s Creek provided protection from cyclones, was a convenient place to unload the pearl shell, and was the perfect harbour for our old wooden luggers.

Today, the Pearlers Shacks have been thoughtfully restored to preserve their heritage. Here you’ll find the modern comforts including air-conditioning, fully equipped kitchens, barbeques, and all linens and towels within an atmosphere rich with living history.

You’ll always remember the way the light changes over the tidal creek outside.

Stone House

Sleeping up to four people, this two-bedroom shack is suitable for couples or families. Inside you’ll find split king beds, air-conditioning, a fully-equipped kitchen and a barbeque. Its rustic charm and outhousestyle bathroom will take you back to the early days of the pearling industry.

Skippers Cottage

Skippers Cottage is our smallest pearlers shack. It stands at the end of the row offering a secluded one-bedroom retreat. Outside, you’ll drink up those magical Kimberley views, while inside you’ll find a bedroom featuring air-conditioning and a split-king bed, as well as an ensuite, a fullyequipped kitchen and barbeque.

Master Pearler’s Private Retreat

The top pick for couples wanting total privacy or larger groups wanting their own space, this one-of-a-kind house was built by our current managing director and third generation pearl farmer James Brown, and served as his beloved family home for over 10 years.

Outside, you’ll find wraparound verandas where you can soak in those Kimberley views. There are two outdoor baths, a barbeque, a fire pit and a sandy track that leads down to your own beach. At low tide, you can explore the tidal flats, mangrove forests and go on the hunt for oysters and mud crabs.

Featuring traditional Broome-style finishes such as exposed timber poles and louvres, this home can accommodate up to 10 people in three queen beds and four single bunk beds. The queen bedrooms are air-conditioned, with fans in the living areas and shared bedroom. There are two modern bathrooms and an open-air rumpus room for the kids.
